Key Features

πŸ“Š Clear Dependency View

The app provides a clear view of each item's dependencies by showing both its predecessors and dependents in two separate columns. Each item includes essential information such as its title, status, and due date.

🎯 Smart Filtering

You can quickly filter items by status, due date, or urgency to focus on what matters most.

✏️ Quick Access

In both the predecessors and dependents lists, you can click any item to open its detail modal, where you can view and edit all item information.

⚑ Auto-Refresh

Changes update automatically when you close the item cardβ€”no manual refresh needed.

Understanding Filters

Status Filter
Filter tasks by their current status (e.g., Done, Working on it, Stuck). Shows only tasks with the selected status, or all tasks if set to "All Statuses".
Due Date Filter
Overdue: Shows only incomplete tasks that have passed their due date. Completed tasks are automatically excluded from the Overdue filter since they no longer need attention. The filter is designed to help focus on tasks that are actually blocking work.

Example: If a task has "Done" status and a due date of Dec 21, 2025, it won't appear in the Overdue filter because it's already completed, even if the date were in the past.

Upcoming: Shows tasks with future due dates.
Urgency Filter
The Urgency filter categorizes tasks based on time until due date:

β€’ High: 0-2 days remaining
β€’ Medium: 3-7 days remaining
β€’ Low: More than 7 days remaining

The filter automatically excludes completed tasks and only applies to tasks with due dates set. This provides a quick way to prioritize work based on deadlines.

Note: If we see good adoption and users find this feature valuable, we plan to add customizable urgency thresholds. This would let teams adjust the ranges to match their workflows - for example, some teams might want "high urgency" to be 3 days instead of 2.
